Douglas P. McCrea, President
Douglas McCrea is a marketing industry veteran and a direct marketing expert. Bringing more than 25 years of direct marketing experience to his post at AcquireLocal, he has developed and managed multi-media lead and sales direct marketing programs for such companies as Citicorp., Dun & Bradstreet, Southwestern Bell, Blue Cross & Blue Shield, The Associated Press, Jiffy Lube, Sears, the State of Maryland and many more…

Over the past two and a half decades, McCrea has held senior marketing positions for two direct marketing based companies (Credit Card Service Bureau and Credentials Services International), founded and served as president of a large national direct marketing agency, MacDantz Direct, and founded Neuristics Corporation, an artificial intelligence based predictive modeling company.

McCrea has been a frequent speaker at events hosted by the Direct Marketing Association and has given seminars at such premier educational establishments as Johns Hopkins University and University of Maryland. He was the founder and first president of the Maryland Direct Marketing Association is a graduate of Temple University in Philadelphia, PA.

Albert Gadbut, AcquireWeb Founder, President and CEO
AcquireWeb Founder, President and CEO Albert Gadbut is an industry veteran in both the high technology and biotech industries whose unique experience enables him to bring a fresh perspective on marketing by applying concepts utilized in the field of medical science to solve marketing challenges.

Prior to creating AcquireWeb, Inc., Gadbut held top management positions with online direct marketing services provider Responsys and online BioScience information portal Bio-Protocol. At these posts, he gained a wealth of experience in the online marketing arena, developing product delivery and fulfillment processes as well as establishing best practices for email appending.

Before entering the high technology industry, Gadbut was a senior scientist in the Department of Molecular Pharmacy at MetaXen, a company focused on streamlining the drug discovery process. He has held faculty positions in the Departments of Medicine, Cardiology at University of California at San Francisco and Harvard Medical School in Boston.

Gadbut holds a B.S. in Biology from Northern Illinois University, a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Illinois and completed a Post Doctoral Fellowship at Harvard Medical School.
